owner and creative director of It’s A Sweet Life bakery. I would like to welcome you to our flagship boutique, located at Halcyon in Alpharetta. From our custom cakes to other delicious creations, come see how we blend art and flavor to make something truly special for your celebrations.

In the early 80’s, as a young girl, I attended a birthday party where we all learned to decorate our own small cake. Despite the limited materials we had at the time, I was completely hooked! I started making holiday cakes for family get-togethers and taught myself how to make buttercream flowers with supplies from the local crafts store.

Then, as they say, life happened.

Almost 22 years later I found myself, like many people, enthralled with baking shows like Cake Boss and Ace of Cakes. It rekindled my love of creating edible art but so much had changed! I decided to roll up my sleeves and get to work. From the very first cake, I fell in love all over again. I started making small cakes out of my home for friends and family and that quickly grew into a full-time passion.

I truly love what I do and I look forward to bringing that joy and creativity to your special occasions.
